Yes this is another amp design by Joseph Esmilla. Thanks Joseph! I am almost finished building version 2 of my 2A3 SET amp. I am building it on a Dynaco ST-70 chassis. About the only thing left to add are the cathode resistors and the hum pots for each of those. The circuit is different, in that I am using a SRPP driver stage.
Yes the dryer does make a decent workbench. I just have to stand up all the time.
The speaker binding posts will have to be redone, as they are not evenly spaced. That will happen after I hear it working though.
I will have to modify the bottom chassis cover plate. The 2.5v filament transformer is too tall as well as one of the filter capacitors is hanging below the chassis bottom.
