Well today was a trip to Asheville N.C. to purchase a Ducati S2R. The bike in question is a 2005 model with 2700 on the clock. The ride back was south down the parkway to 276 and on to Hendersonville N.C. From H’ville to Columbia S.C. it was all interstate to see how the bike rode at freeway speeds.

New Ride

Wednesday, May 10th, 2006Due to events in our family, we passed on the GA Mountain rally and stayed in Hendersonville N.C. Friday found me at the Suzuki-Kawasaki dealer getting a new rear tire. There was half a day wasted. Saturday was a great day for riding. We took 276 down to Hwy 11 in S.C. and then turned right on Hwt 130 to Hwy 107 which goes to Cashiers N.C. and then on to Highlands N.C. From there we took Hwy 28 into GA and then on to Warwoman road which took us to Clayton GA.
We repeated the return trip back to Cashiers and then to the Smokehouse Restaurant for some great burgers and fries. From there we took Hwy 64 back to Hendersonville, by way of Brevard.
