Not today, but over the last two weeks, I took this:

Added some fiberglass drywall tape and ABS cement:

And ended up with this:

Also, while the plastics were off, checked valve clearances, cleaned and gapped spark plugs, changed air filter, and finished off the rest of the maintenance items that require plastic removal.

The plastic repairs turned out better than I had hoped.  I'm encouraged that, when I'm ready to make Frankenstein into a beauty queen, I will be able fill in the gouges with ABS cement, sand and paint to pretty good results.
