This was a weekend to relax and eat at our favorite stops. No long rides planned, just good food to be eaten. Saturady Afternoon after sleeping in, we rode Hwy 64 to the Smokehouse Restaraunt between Highlands and Cashiers. There we had their great hamburgers and fries and LARGE order of onion rings. They were delicious. On our return to Hendersonville we stopped at a local dairy bar for milkshakes. On Sunday we got up early and headed for the Pisgah View Ranch near Candler N.C. for breakfast. This place seats you with whoever is there and is a great way to meet new people while enjoying a good homecooked breakfast. They serve eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and coffee cake. Oh and they also server coffee and juice. From there we took 151 to the parkway and 276 to Brevard. We then took 64 to Batcave N.C. home of Chimney rock and on past lake lure. We then rode hwy 108 to Tryon and then on back to Hendersonville.
