Nah, but one of the two dings on my yearly review was a frustrated email about how screwed up development and engineering is. A project had requirements for an automated script that installed the application as root without review by operations. Since we don't permit that as a rule, the install of course failed. Directors got involved because of the email. One of the engineers got his panties in a wad and brought it to his directors attention. I'd read the response by my boss indicating I needed to be a team player and I about blew up. I typed a lengthy response on my Android at 2 am giving him the details. And more when I got in later. Once he knew what was up, he was on my side but during my review I was dinged for starting it and it was recommended I go to a class on communications (scheduled for July).

We're far too touchy feely around here.

BTW, I approached one of the network guys. He brought up the new IPAM app and none of the IPs up to about .150 were documented. We talked to the guy doing the work and he didn't remember. I have an IPAM feature in my inventory app that lists all the IPs in my database and who they belong to. I sent a link over to help. I got a new IP and he said he used my app plus pinged the new IP so it should be good.
