Peter has done a lot of messing with the raspberry pi...I'll ping him and see what he uses.
Hockey season starts April 18!  Riding season starts whenever I can get a babysitter.  Any offers?

Having a crew of equipment operators, and no equipment for them to operate because the people who supply our equipment are a bunch of incompetent fucks.

Thanks.  The Beaglebone has two microcontrollers built in, so I can use those for collecting the data and then pass it to the main processor to store it without altering the timing of the sensor measurements.  If I didn't need at least a 30 hz sampling rate on 5 sensors this would be much easier.   :-\

Sticking your hand into a fast moving ceiling fan.  At 6'5 I should know better.  Went to remove a shirt in my living room yesterday afternoon and the left hand went right into the fan blade.  Hurt like a mofo.  Big indent in one finger and a cut on the next.  But wait, there's more.  I was going to bed last night and went to take the t-shirt off at the same spot.  Yep, same thing but not as bad this time.   :baldy:

Been there. Done that. Except I've done it on low. Don't hurt as bad.

Raspberry pie  MMmmmmm
Sampling rate is how fast it's eaten
5 sensors are the 5 basic  tastes the human tongue can identify.

 Something like that.  It's hobby robotics stuff that I'm trying to make work for my grad school project.  Maybe you have heard of arduino?  I need something faster than that, so I'm having to explore my other options.  If you have kids you should get them an arduino.  Knowing how to program is a valuable skill.

19 yr old who knows better with no ambition.   I threw out the man child on Monday for not being a productive member of society.

For months now I was today that I have a summer job 40 hours a week, $10 an hour.  Day before the start, "I didn't get the job."  Okay I understand with more patience then ever before.  "Go to Manpower or any other employment agency and get a job for summer.  You have until June 2nd."  I ask many times over the two weeks prior.  Monday June 2nd, ..."so where have you applied?"  "AMC online."  I ask about Manpower etc.  Could not find it I was told.  Did you call?  No.

So for two weeks he did little to nothing to find a job.  Out he goes.

Next day he move to his grandparents that promised a college education 11 yr ago, and then said it need to be near them last year.  So no support from them.  He has not talk to them in at least 5 months.  Now he's living rent, and expense free, king of the world.  They bad talk about me a year ago and I told the Outlaws they would not hear from me they apologize.  So I let him read the court documents to make his own decision. Then he stop talking to him.

I understand why he took him in, they have not heard from their daughter since 2000 when I was award custody and he is the only know grandchild, but when will my son learn?

Kids that age are tough.  My own 19-yo is walking a fine line, himself.  He has a job but thinks since he's an "adult," he no longer has to contribute around the house.  I told him that if he wants a maid, he should go live with his mom and see how long she'll put up with that shit.

Don't you have a view like this right now?  You're not allowed to be pissed and rant about it.

I was the opposite. I rely enjoyed to do the yard work. I also cleaned my room, changed the bed, and did a lot of the house maintenance.
