Carl, I'm right there with your tech rants but this one has me scratching my head. That's ok, I'll just move along...  Nothing to see here...

Grocery carts and lazy ass people.  I hate going to grocery stores (I do our shopping) and seeing perfectly healthy assholes leaving their carts sitting in the lots.  I can understand disabled people or people with little kids they just put in the car but not the vast majority of dumbasses too lazy to walk 50 feet to a cart corral.  I've taken to making some snide comments to people I see pushing their cart into a parking space and leaving it there.

That pisses me off, too.  I always park as close to the cart corral as possible so I can put the cart away even after I've put the kids in the car.  Yeesh, people are lazy.

I won't park near the cart corrals. People are so lazy they just shove the cart toward the corral. Sometimes they don't make it. I park far away past all the cars, upwind and uphill of cart traffic. The walk is good for me, and I am in sooner than waiting for a spot to open up 5 spots from the door.

Was reminded this from an ad for a sweet FZ1 on advrider, but I hate it when people attach their primary motorcycle key to a bunch of other keys or hard plastic or metal key chains that bang around and scratch up the triple tree.  How hard is it to use a small ring that won't damage your bike? If you need something bigger, use something soft, like leather maybe?

Never understood that one. I'd almost refuse to buy the perfect used bike for that reason alone.

I actually have a main key ring with the house key, keybox key, bicycle key, and one other key I don't recognize off the top of my head. Then individual keyrings for each bike and one for the truck. The truck key has a house key on it along with an Ace Hardware scan tag.

I just didn't like having a crapload of keys in my pocket. Now I'll have my main keyring and a second key ring with the vehicle key on it.

Speaking of this, where would you find a nice two-key fob, where one key would be covered in leather? I carry two keys on the bike, the ignition and a house key. I have some heat shrink tubing on the teeth, and Velcro it to a plastic fob to keep it from scratching the triple. I sure wish I could find a leather or plastic fob that would hold 1 key. Hopefully it would have a roundel on it and cost $239.54.

I had a rant ready but after seeing Mr. Cablebandit's latest GIF postings, I've since forgotten what it was all about...

I have one of those old fashioned pull apart key rings - the small side has the bike key, the other side my house key, spare moto key, givi trunk key. Bike key pops off, small and can't hit anything, and the other keys go in a zippered pocket.

Actually had a pic from when I had my FZ1...

I won't park near the cart corrals. People are so lazy they just shove the cart toward the corral.

That part is true.  Sadly, people are also raging assholes these days and I have, no shit, heard of more than one mom who has had 911 called on her for leaving her kids in the car alone for the 37 seconds it takes to return a cart to the corral.  Since I want to avoid having to lose my ever-loving mind at someone calling the cops on me for that bullshit, I park near the corral. :D

I do too. Even when I don't have the kids.

All of the above and to top it off why do these people have gym memberships? You know they do. Especially the yuppie SoCal inhabitant with the Aston-Martin Vantage, Vanquish, or DB9.  :twofinger:

I nab one of those carts left behind, take it in with me into the store as I need to use it anyway, and either return it to the cart corral or actually walk it up to the grocery back to the main herd. I need to burn every calorie I can!

Redirect.

It pisses me off when people take 5-10 steps inside (or outside) a busy retail outlet entrance and stop. There's like a million people trying to get into and out of the doorway your blocking. Move your ass off to the side or further away from the doors.
