You've been having quite a stretch recently. Maybe you need to renew your karma? :headscratch:

I rode this morning in 71 degrees.  What a great way to start a Wednesday.

80 when I left the house -- 14 miles later, 62 . . . .

but I beleive the rain MAY have cleaned the Tiger a lil, so I got that going for me.

;-}
We had two bags of grass, 75 pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a saltshaker half-full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers... Also, a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls. Not that we needed all that for the trip, but once you get locked into a serious drug collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can.

You bet! 63 and rain on the way in, and 80 and rain on the way home. Still, it's better than the truck.

Rode to pay my AT&t bill then to the auto parts store to pick up another part for the brakes on the SUV. (still on jack stands) Made it home just b/4 the storms moved in. Then i discover my internet is out  :bash: So i can't look at the radar.

After the rain moved out i rode to the AT&T support center to get a new modem. No charge.

Actually stopped because of weather (1st time IIRC) in a gas station with no power. Transformer blowing up and throwing flames/sparks convinced me to continue on. Drove around a couple downed trees. Yay commuting!

Rode in to work through a lovely fog/mist/drizzle, 60 degrees. I can't wait for summer!

I predict summer will arrive on Tuesday, and last all the way through Thursday afternoon.

Drove the car in the morning yesterday, then came home and got the Daytona at lunch.  Took it back to work and prepping it for consignment.  It's going away because I can't ride it any more.  Carpal tunnel in both wrists has killed my desire to ride at the moment.  8 miles from home to work and the pain is unmanageable.  Time to set up an appointment with the doc.

First time the Daytona's moved under its own power in a month.   :baa:

That is sad.  :'(  Thinking about replacing it with something less aggressive positioning? What were your symptoms? How did you know it was carpal tunnel?

I rode this morning and it was 50. Heated grips and colder weather gear in June. WTF? I want my global warming back.

Heated grips at 50?  WTF?

They were on low, and it was damp, and I'm thinking my circulation ain't what it used to be.
If you got 'em, why not use 'em?

Don't mind him.

I may even use my heated jacket tomorrow morning. Getting old is a bitch.

WTF

No wonder you've been so quiet lately.

Back in 94 i was working a desk job and starting to get Carpal tunnel to from the computer work. When i got a different job it went away and have never had a problem since.

I hope this doesn't mean a retirement from motorcycling. A more uprite riding position would be better for the wrist.

Good luck Tom and congratulations on your daughters  wedding.

Numbness in the hands, swollen feeling fingers and lack of fine motor control.  I'm dropping tools and fumbling stuff all the time.  Just got off the phone making an appointment to see the doc about options.

Ed, even the DR isn't working for me right now.  That's about as upright and neutral as it gets.  I ride many different bikes in the course of a week and nothing's hit the spot yet.  25k miles a year to les than 1k so far in 2014.
