Our home base for 2014 will be Hawks Nest State Park in Ansted, WV.
www.hawksnestsp.comACCOMMODATIONSLodge rooms at Hawks Nest State Park will be $75/night during our stay. That rate includes a continental breakfast each morning. Beds vary from room to room - rooms with one king, one queen, or two doubles are available. Please indicate your preference when making your reservation. All rooms are non-smoking. Check-in time is 3 PM; check-out time is 12 noon.
$75/night lodge rooms (2 double beds, 1 queen, or 1 king), plus 6% sales tax and 6% hotel/motel tax
Room Block – A total of 21 lodge rooms have been reserved for our group, with the option to exceed that block. The lodge has 31 rooms total, so there is the possibility we could sell out the property. Our block of rooms will be held until Friday, April 11, 2014. After that date, any remaining inventory in the block will be released to the general public.
Cancellation Policy – Hawks Nest has a 48-hour cancellation policy for Lodge Rooms should the weather or personal circumstances necessitate a change in your plans.
Deposit – Deposits equal to the amount of one night’s lodging ($84) will be collected at time of reservation.
FOODHawks Nest State Park has a full-service restaurant (Hawks Nest Restaurant) onsite which will be open during our stay from 8 AM until 8 PM each day.

(Translation: Don’t flaunt it. Bring a cup. Be cool.)
PETROLThere is a Shell in Ansted (1.5 miles northeast of the park) and an Exxon in Smithers (11 miles west of the park).

Part of what really solidified HNSP as a good location for a motorcycle meet was the fact that as soon as we made the left turn out of the parking lot of the park, US 60 got "crazy good" immediately as it wound its way down the mountain to meet up with the New and Kanawha Rivers.
