http://www.hnrwv.com/SOCIALIZINGPer the contract, “Consumption of alcoholic beverages in public areas is forbidden by state law, therefore please confine such beverages to guestrooms.” This is the same policy to which we’re asked to adhere at the Winter Meet…wink-wink, nudge-nudge. (Translation: Don’t flaunt it. Bring a cup. Be cool.)
PETROLThere is a Shell in Ansted (1.5 miles northeast of the park) and an Exxon in Smithers (11 miles west of the park).
ROUTESTo, from, and around HNSP will be spectacular. Case closed!
Cablebandit, Smoker, Andrea, and I did a site visit to HNSP back in October as part of our Bourbon Tour. This is what I wrote about HNSP:
Part of what really solidified HNSP as a good location for a motorcycle meet was the fact that as soon as we made the left turn out of the parking lot of the park, US 60 got "crazy good" immediately as it wound its way down the mountain to meet up with the New and Kanawha Rivers.
