I was in Michigan today (Buchanan)  and no rain ether.

Max must of been far enough north to affect the weather.

Thunder and heavy rain woke me at 4AM.  Scratch riding the bike to work again today.  At least I got the grass cut and yard work mostly done over the weekend.

Yup. Heavy rains 11pm, all done by 1am. Beautiful blues skies and 80's are the rule for the day.

Tornado just north is my house by about a mile or so.  It but a local RV dealer and destroyed a lot of inventory.  We were fine.
I wonder how many "been there" maps I can put in here?

Seen that on the news, what RV place? General? Lots of lighting and thunder in the Kalamazoo area.

Turns out I WAS right in the path.  It came right overhead but didn't touch down yet by my house.     My house is right in line with all the damage- it was just further east of me.

A friend of mine is a pastor at a church in the neighborhood that got hit.  He called me about 7 and asked if I could help clear the driveway of one of his members.  7:30 we were cutting trees, and have a ways more to go tomorrow to clear the driveway.  I shot video on the way in- here it is:

Clay, Sunday riding with some of the F.U.C.K.E.R.S. in S/W Wisconsin I think we were around Clyde Wi and it looked like a tornado went through that area. Trees down all over the place. Patches of pines that looked like someone came through with a chain saw and leveled every thing.   Some barns looked like they exploded. Only the frame was left. Also saw an overturned semi in a farm.

Hell of a storm last night too.

Supposed to go racing at Palos in a few weeks, but I'm thinking the race might just be scrapped for conditions if they don't get a chance to dry out.
