Planning a day trip from Pendleton, Indiana to Greenville, OH for a lunch at the Maid-Rite Sandwich Shoppe...

Are there any interesting roads in that vicinity?  Any hidden gems that I am missing on the map?

I hope the sammies are good because the roads look pretty boring.

Western Ohio is mostly boring-ass, flat farm land. If you get way off the main roads you'll get an occasional 90 degree turn as the roads follow property lines, but that's about as exciting as it gets....

Hey Ed,

I haven't booked a room yet, but I might come down for the day. Started a new business July 8th and things are starting to take off.

Plus I've got the whole getting divorced thing going on... Had to refill the attorney's retainer account the other day and that hurt quite a bit.

Ohio is home to some most excellent motorcycle roads, but not in that part of the state.  Southeast Ohio is worth a trip.
