If all goes as planned, we'll be stopping at Wheels of Time Monday afternoon before checking in that evening.

Forget about that - ruptured appendix is very serious - how is your mother doing?

+1

She's doing well, recovering on thermonuclear antibiotics, LOL. (She gets the appendix taken out in August.) I know we couldn't help it...but I'm still shattered over not being able to make it down.  Oh well, I'll definitely put Marietta on the calendar!

Sounds like it was a close one then, so enjoy her company while you can.

Plan on meeting in Marietta.

This is rather sad for the national. There are more people going to clays bbq in flat land MI than there are coming to this. (Not that there is anything wrong with clays). We should change the name of this place to sport-eating.org. i seems to be all about the food now.  :twofinger:  we will all still have a great time. More room on the roads for us

This will be Sheri's first meet and I'm a little bummed she won't get to experience a parking lot full of bikes in the evening.  But, the folks attending are great people and I look forward to see you all again.

I'm not sure what's up with people this year.  The spring meet had a good turn out, the Eastern meet in OH appears to be shaping up quite nicely.  And, as mentioned, Clay's BBQ is looking like it'll be a good turn out.

I don't understand why this wouldn't attract more people.  It's an excellent location with access to some of the best roads east of the Mississippi.

Mid-week meets require lots of vacation time. Long weekend regional meets fit people's lives a lot better.

Just about everyone I know is heading to
Johnson City for the week.
It's never too early to plan.
It's never too late to go.
