Took out The Hulk to the base clinic to pick up my Honey's meds. a short jaunt, but still had a blast (not counting the lovely winds).

74* degrees here and even though it's only a 5 minute, I opted to hop on the scoot to run to the bank.  Wish I had more time to stay out and play.

I did! I watched 'Blinky the Snowflake'  and 'Fuelly the GasPump' have an argument over what is more important, 31° or 15 miles to empty. It was a chilly hour and a half on the F800R, and a wonderfully exhilarating two hours on the GS. Took the long way home.

Rode the Husky TE610 sumo.

I pegged it on a local street and was coming up to a T intersection with no stop sign. I was going to take a hard right and at the last second I saw a car coming. Grabbed the brakes (and these things are so strong it will get you in trouble) and stopped. It was a state police car. I turned behind him and he turned left at the next street and I went straight. Award avoided.

Good thing I don't own this thing because it could be very bad for my license.

I love my kids and I love they are in my school, but I do look forward to the days when I can begin commuting by myself again.
