Rode yesterday.  New chain and new tires make things very nice.  Hope to ride tomorrow as well.  :)

First Wednesday night single track ride went well (other than the sore muscles in the morning). looking for more tomorrow if the weather cooperates.

Rode every day this week.  About to hop on for the ride home.  Gonna need to start the car and truck and take them for a ride just to keep the mice on their toes.  :(

Rode all but one day this week. Got caught in a little bit of rain Friday. Otherwise, all good.

5/31/2021 First extended ride on the new Ninja. 6 hours in the seat, 260 miles. I'll probably need a different seat, taller screen and maybe lower pegs. Other than that all is good.

That's a sweet stretch of road when it's in good shape; maybe by September.  Thx

I did.  Slow Riders of Johnson City managed to cobble a group ride.  Nothing fancy.  A dozen of us taking some back roads to grab lunch at the Barbarossa Saloon in Tennessee.  Okay food.  For several months the weather wasn’t cooperating.

Kim and I actually got out on a beautiful Saturday for about 175 miles.  Her first time on the bike in a while.  The puppy is time consuming.  The puppy is ALL consuming but alas, she's a puppy.

We had a very nice afternoon.  It would appear they've paved the remainder of a favorite local run.  That's down right pleasant now.  We also finally found that little gem between Sherr and Mt. Storm.  Oh my.  Had to run that a few times.  We'll be going back there for sure.  Ran out of time and had to blast back on 48.  Highways aren't fun but if they're at least beautiful, the ride isn't so bad.  A good day.  Zero pictures were taken.  There may have been a bucket of fries from the Sheetz in Moorefield that looked a lot less like a bucket than the last time we got one.

New tire is scrubbed in.   ;D

About to...  Gonna go get to know ( reacquaint with) some more back roads. Will revisit old 55 then take a nice back road bypassing some of 28. Then 42 up to Sherr then 93 up to Keyser and 46 to 28 to the back way home.

Happy 5th of July.

Yeah, so, with a puppy, apparently we're able to ride about 175 miles of back roads with the 4ish hours we have available to us.  We were actually able to pop in and say hi to my sister as well.  Found some fun new roads and found some roads that we need to go back and investigate.  I saw at least 4 signs that read "road no suitable to large trucks or trailers".  Those need to be explored.  :)

I've also been commuting every day again now that the flying plague is basically gone.
