I wonder what the break point ruling between what is an 'electric motorcycle' vs. and 'electric bicycle'? In the traditional internal combustion community, pedals make the difference (or so I always believed). The Whizzer and traditional moped scooters were definitely hybrids of both, leaving that definition up to the end user. But in order to take advantage of this tax credit, will it require non-pedal power?
If pedal-ASSIST come in under this, I see a true explosion of sales. On BOTH sides really, but if the bicycle market benefits from this, we should all invest in Kryptonite lock stock.

Edit: DERP. Maybe read the article before commenting dood... $1500 for e-bike, $7500 for e-motor
Ummm nobody else think this is a stunning waste of tax dollars?
$7500.00 is a crazy amount for a motorcycle credit.

I don't think there's been a tax bill that hasn't wasted $$ in a long time...
