Cyclists. They are rude, run red lights, ride very dangerously and I want to kill them.

Almost picked a kid off an hour ago. City street / residential where I had the right-o-way but he had a downhill with a stop sign at the bottom - lol (with only one hand on the handlebars on a ten-speed). Easy for me to brake to let him have a good ride.

I obey the rules of the road when on bicycle.  Unfortunately, this only serves to confuse the drivers around me.

 :withstupid:, definitely.
Don't be a dork and stop for me to cross the road when I have a stop sign & you have the right-of-way!  The lack of understanding of the rules of the road and how they pertain to you (in your car) and other vehicles (which includes bicycles) makes venturing out on the streets in this city an exercise in risking your life.... daily...

Well, when every other cyclist will blow the stop sign, it is understandable, if frustrating.

The Sturgis rally crowd, f%$# why more of them don't end up dead is beyond me? ride the center line, expect everyone to clear the lane when they merge, consider their entire group as one vehicle at stop lights, stop in the middle of the road, etc, etc, etc... F%$#ing morons!!

In the cases I'm thinking of, one foot is already on the ground, bicycle halted, waiting, and the car stops  ...

The South Dakota Highway Patrol is reporting as of 6 a.m. Friday, district–wide there have been 186 DUI arrests, 54 injury accidents, 37 non–injury accidents and three fatalities.

The Meade County Sheriff's Office reports, as of Friday morning, a total of 322 bookings at the Meade County Jail in the past week. That's up slightly from last year's 309 bookings from Friday to Friday.

numbers of people seems down considerably this year. which is typical of the year before an anniversary. next year will be huge (75th)

Two more bikers were killed yesterday, pushing the official Sturgis rally toll to eight............So far, there have been 60 injury crashes and 29 non-injury crashes.  Police have also arrested 230 people for driving under the influence, 41 on felony drug charges and another 136 for misdemeanor drug violations.

It appears to be starting out with a bang.

For gods' sake, we have sidewalks in this town.  Stop walking on the damn road!  Yes this means you two ladies with the golden retrievers who took up the whole lane this morning and were offended when I pointed out we have a place for non-wheeled travel. :firedevil:

If Peds can walk in the road the MCs should be able to ride on sidewalks and linear trails!
