Here are the two senior members of our pet collection:
Koda - the disinterested Husky, unless you're eating ice cream, then he's attentive. He's 13, we adopted him 4 years ago.

And here is Ollie, aka Mr. Rotundo. He's 15 y.o..  Currently a svelte 20 lb, down from 25.

This is what Dan and I have to deal with every morning. He sees us putting on our stuff to leave for work and immediately runs down the stairs to sit by the door. Needless to say, I have been late to work a few times...

Please meet Oscar Clark, German Shorthaired Pointer Extraordinaire! He will be 15 in November. Obviously, this collage represents him at various ages, or stages of white-face, but each picture definitely captures his essence! He was a puppy for the first seven years of his life...just BOUNDLESS energy...and has really only slowed down significantly in the last three years or so. He used to like to play catch until WE wore out. Now he's half-blind and mostly deaf, but damned if that docked tail doesn't still wiggle a mile a minute when I'm anywhere near his cookie jar! Which, by the way, now contains soft treats as he has had 15 of 42 teeth removed in the last five months...and remains unphased. He's a damn fine dog, if I do say so myself. He's Daddy's boy, but Momma's snuggle bear.

Happy birthday Oscar!!!

Thanks.  He's currently pacing around the house and grumbling.  I think he knows his cupcake is here.

This is Sophie and Smudge.

Sophie is wondering why I'm laying in the big white water dish, and Smudge doesn't like his personal space violated.
