LOVE you people!
« on: August 20, 2016, 05:35:46 PM »
Just had to say it. Always good information (well, mostly). Off track/thread derailments don't usually go too far off - at least folks lose interest before things get to 15 pages of unrelated.

Meat and bone responses. No "fluff."

I've been in/out of this forum and the "other" ST forum for not a few years. I can always expect to get a real life answer to any question.
And thanks for the support and well wishes after my get off. Things are about 97% healed and back to normal. I expect the collarbone will be some years yet to get fully "normal" but I can deal with it.

I've now put over 4000 miles on my new to me ride. Very happy indeed.

Call me Mel. Some years ago- never mind how long precisely- having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me at home, I thought I would ride about a little and see the other parts of the world. It is a way I have of driving off the spleen and regulating the circulation.

I have never met you in Person, but like your writing and glad you are back on 2 wheels  :bigok:

Showing you the way, leaving no doubt,
Of the way on in or the way back out.

Just so you know, broken collarbones never get back to "normal".

Errrrr, don't know what else to say...I do sure hope you have a ride report/

This is very good news!  :bigok:  I've wondered, now and again, how things were going.

Just so you know, broken collarbones never get back to "normal".

Sadly pretty true.  Best outcome is you get an acceptable new norm.  I recommend NOT going back to have someone try to "fix" it so that it's "back to normal" if you are at an acceptable level now.  For something that looks so simple, it's very rare to get back to baseline.
