Hmmmm.... Turns out I might be on the hook for spending that (belated birthday) weekend with the wife at the in-laws cottage. Now "not likely" unless SWMBO tells me otherwise.

EDIT: Her birthday is on Wed the 17th, and she plans on spending the whole week there. So if I take a vacation day on the 17th and join her at the cottage for a day, I'm good to go for the weekend.

I was pretty sure that would be the case.

The weekend before was not good for 2 or 3 people and the weekend after is a move-in date for the local college.

What can I say?  I looked at the long-term weather forecast and that clinched the date.

We can't all make all the meets. It's all good.  :bigok:

I don't go to the meets to ride; I go there to see y'all. I don't get to see you guys nearly enough. The riding is secondary to the hanging out and seeing you guys. When I need a real riding fix, I'm 3-5 hours from some of the country's best. Seeing you guys is harder to schedule.

OK, kids...here's what you've been waiting for...the hotel information:

The 20-room block (5 kings/15 2-queens) will be held until August 5th. Individual reservations should be made by calling 877-361-2497 and mentioning confirmation #65210779. The name for the block of rooms is PESTO. Reservations can be cancelled without penalty 24 hours prior to your arrival (which is 4 PM on arrival date).

Frank, you may want to snag this information as well as the rates in my earlier post and populate the first post with all of it.
I used to make a bigger impression.
