Looks like the second half of the season is starting off a lot like the first half, with Motodog laying down consistent laps and steadily building a gap, kinda like Lorenzo on a warm sunny day when the front tire is sticking juuuuust the way he likes.

Starting to be a gap between second and third. Tuck up behind me and we'll try to draft back up.

Kneescrubber has it tough coming back from the stolen bike ride through penalty, but his lap speeds are still there.

I agree. I gave up on Crutchlow a long time ago.

Yes, while I noted Motodog's continued consistency, I failed to give due credit to Dan's performance in Austria. That was one hell of a fast lap.

112 might be my highest score for any given race this year...

Either way, love the way it keeps me interested in the races! I really need to get on the track... My track day buddy just bought a fully race prepped S1000R to replace his tricked out GSX-R 600...

What? You mean everyone didn't pick Crutchlow for the win?

I made my picks expecting the rain to stop by afternoon and the race to be dry. Maybe if it had stopped raining an hour earlier...

Oh what the hell, who am I kidding? Excuses are useless. I just suck.

Not as bad as me.

68 points for the race. For a grand total of 862 points on the season.

A huge thumbs up for Iannone. Did anyone see his front tire at the end of the race?

I've never been a big Lorenzo fan and his antics today just reinforced why. Also big thumbs down to Dovi. I'm betting Ducati is second guessing their decision.

I've never been a big Lorenzo fan and his antics today just reinforced why.

Lorenzo said he did not come in because he wanted to switch to slicks but because his front tire was also coming apart, as Iannone's did later. He switched and went back out to give the team time to put on a new wet-weather front.
