What are the options? What do you use?

Feels like I've been here before, fuzzy then but still so obscure........

Maybe you had too much too fast.

I have a GoPro3 Silver Ed. that COULD go on my helmet (either by strap or double-sided tape mount), but I haven't used that option yet. I mount it by suction to the fairings. Love seeing the bike do its thing while hitting the curves. My wife wants to mount it to her helmet while we 2-up.

I have a GoPro2 with the wireless backpack unit on it.  I mount it to my helmet or also on various points on the bike.  Sometimes on the twisties I mount it on my bike facing backwards then give the remote to my wingman, Ed (not our Ed), behind me.  He then runs the camera and films himself.  Sometimes he runs it and films me.  It's really kind of fun, but as the years go by it gets less exciting to watch and more to ride.  ;-)  I use them on my helmet and snowmobile in the winter as well.

I have been filming on the bike since back a ways.  I mounted a digital 8 camera on my bike for trips.  It is a good time to be doing this.  I am very tempted to buy SuperHans's Sony for hunting...

Wouldn't that make the arrows fly funny?

I have a GoPro2 that is mounted on the bike and one of my helmets that enough of a flat spot to get a sticky mount. Mine is side-mounted versus the top mount, I like the line-of-sight shots better than the top-of-head. I also mounted a tab to my side case, so it gets close to the road in left-handers. You can also get RAM mount adapters, so any Ram mount is also a GoPro mount.
You never see a motorcycle parked outside a psychiatrists' office.

Yes.

I envisioned setting that thing for a super high frame rate for good slow mow, then mounting it a couple feet above the ground remotely controlled right near a spot where I'd get a shot.
