After all the rave reviews I bought a pair of held Steve gloves, meh.   I like my old alpinstar SP2s better and they are half the price.

I get that. Looked at the Steve's, never bought them. The Thrux (now out of production) and the Warm and Dry's. I love. I have the A* SP1's, and they have pretty good.

I used to be a Held fan... but didn't like the cut of the revised Steve, and now the lack of availability of some models with the new US distributor. I have transitioned to Klim as my various pairs of Helds have died. Have a few different pair, no regrets so far. They make most models up to 3X.

Which, of course, means nothing at all.  ;D

I'm considering the Held Narvik. Gonna be very cold here soon.

Never heard of those....tell me more*....it's going to 19°F (-7C) here.

*couldn't wait, looked them up. I like the looks of them, awaiting a full review.
