It's a presentation from the 2 Ride the World folks.

I thought I would hit a hotel/motel after. Any places you all like nearby? The Pine Motel is right down Division, but reviews are varied.
Division Ave further north into GR can be a rough area. It gets better the further south you go. This area is okay, but I don't have the experience to comment on the Pine Motel. As far as good hotels in the area, there's a Holiday Inn Express at US131 & M-6 or a Hyatt hotel at Byron Center Avenue & M-6.
This is Clay's neck of the woods--I'd expect him to chime in soon. I'm not sure about the local motels--what's available or good.
I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express at 131 & M6 last year. Very expensive during the weekend. They have a huge indoor pool and stuff that attracts a lot of parents and kids.
This place is nice, close, and relatively inexpensive I have been told:
Comfort Suites South
7644 Caterpillar Ct SW
Grand Rapids, MI 49548
(616) 301-2255
Here's a Super 8 a little bit north:
727 44th St SW
Wyoming, MI 49509
(616) 530-8588
There's also a Baymont at 84th st and 131:
8282 Pfeiffer Farms Drive, Grand Rapids, MI 49315
Phone:(616) 583-9535
There's a few places I know people have stayed.
Thise are a couple where I know people have stayed.

Thanks all! Places with a restaurant/bar within
stumbling walking distance get first consideration.
I ate at Cranker's for dinner on Friday last year. It was good, not great. Huge menu and the brews are decent.
I camp in Clay's backyard when I'm in GR.

Sent through subspace from the U.S.S. Enterprise.
The Super 8 Clay mentioned is scary.
We stayed at The Ramada Plaza G.R. its across the street from Krispy Kreem.

The Baymont listed last has a bar/restaurant (84 st Pub) right next door, and it's in a very safe/clean area. They have GREAT bar food and a good beer selection.
Let me know where you are staying if you want to meet for a brew!
The real question is: Do you trust anything that starts PF?
