Well I found out what picking it up means. That means it's on its way from Germany and it's on a boat.

Are you sure? I was at the BMW dealer in Canton, MI yesterday & the owner told me that he already had 2. I asked where they came from & how they were delivered & he said originally they come from Germany & then come into New Jersey where they are loaded onto a cube van & delivered to him.
Hard work, pays off in the future. Laziness, pays off now.

Did you actually see them? Seriously. I would've thought he would have had them on the floor as soon as possible. Unless they were already promised to someone.

I didn't ask to see them. No interest. I think they were just uncrated if my memory serves me right. I was there resolving a helmet/GPS/phone pairing issue.

Pretty sure. Talked to him today, and he said it should be at his store at the end of February-ish.

Sweet.  The black cherry looked awesome. I'd love to see one in natural sunlight.

I meant in person, but that'll do. :D

Thank god BMW didn't make a proper blue one this year.  I'd be in big trouble showing up at home with it!  :D

Throw the man a bone Max.  He's recovering and all.  I'm being nice.  I didn't point out someone put a sweet color on some Japanese oh look another one bike.

Spoke to my BMW dealer today.  $22k out the door for a fully loaded GTW.  Have to negotiate trade in value, he offered me the GPS and head guards for 20% off.  Also, confirmed my current top case will fit so I could keep that; and if I move forward I would just sell off all my other little accessories.

They will also come pick up my current RT and deliver the new one to my house at no charge.

Still have a bit of negotiation and debating to do, but its a start...

Sounds like the only thing to do is pick out a color.

Oh way ahead of that even checked the insurance difference. Just need them to find another $1000 between my trade and msrp. Shouldn't be too hard.
