Umm...wow. That is the more than the K1600GT and the same as the GTL! That would make a K1600GT the bargain. I wonder if that is the base price?

This was the base price on my 2012 K1600GT:
$20,900.00. Loaded: $25,035.00

This is what I paid for it:
$26,565.80

Probably the same black cherry one my girl and I sat on in New York City.

Probably. I think there are three in the US right now. The color works for me.
The rep there said the pricing will be very close to the 2013. Of course, he didn't know when the price was going to be announced.

They told me the same thing.  I'd like some decent shade of blue personally, but the black cherry was nice.  Just no more Winnebago decals.

No prices yet, and maybe not for a month or two according to a local dealer.
Also, for the record, I again can not confirm or deny that a list of desired options and color with my name on it has gone to a certain German manufacturing facility.

HAHA! Not falling for that. There may or may not be a Ebony (black cherry) one being built and shipped to my local dealer.

Perhaps I should call and put a deposit on that one.  ;D

The black cherry is a cool color, and it looked great in person.  I'd still pick blue.   :P

The blue isn't bad, and will probably be pretty nice in person. I wish they offered a dark or Yamaha blue then it would be a hands down winner. Or even white. If this one was just straight up black, I would go with blue. Unless it had the Winnebago stripes.

I just went and looked at the colors and I agree with you.  The blue is too light.  I wouldn't pick any of the three.  :(  Even as much as I like the black cherry, I wouldn't pick it over a dark blue.

Just talked to my dealer, he said that the company who manages the website (50 degree?) basically copy and pasted the $23,500 price from the K1600GT because it looked the same.   They are going to be price "very close" to last years.
I can't confirm or deny that a black cherry (ebony) with the Touring Package and the Dynamic Package is scheduled to be shipped to their location with a customers' name attached to it. I can confirm that the US option packages are the same as Canada's:

Comfort Package: Chromed exhaust*, central locking, Alarm, Tire pressure monitor, Socket
Touring Package: Cruise Control, Prep for GPS, heated seats, Dynamic ESA
Dynamic Package: Riding Mode Pro, Hill Start control, Headlight Pro

*Why is a chromed exhaust a 'comfort' item?

I cannot understand why they haven't announced pricing yet. I mean they built the bike with a price target for each market. There is no way they are still counting the numbers. The only think I can think of is there are too many left overs around and if the 2014 is priced too close to the 2013 they will have to heavily discount the 2013s in order to move them.

Frankly a person would be a fool to buy a 2013 now unless it was heavily discounted anyway, so let's get on with it BMW. Announce the price and blow out the 2013s already.

That sounds reasonable. I don't know if there are many 2013's left. My dealer has one unsold, the others are all tagged. BMW was giving some discounts on the 2013's.
