Mostly three-day weekend trips for me with the possible exception of a trip/tour to the Maritimes:
Local dual-sport weekend in mid-April, probably to WV
STO Spring Meet in early May
(Possible) Maritimes tour before/after presenting a paper at a conference in St Johns (NB) in early June
ADVrider BYOB at Hatfield-McCoy trail system in WV in late June
ESTN 2015 - location and date TBD, probably late summer/early fall
2007 KTM 950 SMR
2009 KTM 530 EXC

I'm really hoping to get a couple of three day trips in.  Ideally I'd go up to the redwoods/Lost Coast once and over to the Sierras another time.

Now that the house stuff is settled (crosses fingers), I'm thinking my long awaited Four Corners tour is this year.

All our riding plans for this year are up in the air with our desire to relocate to Colorado; and even that's up in the air until we get some medical shit sorted out.  ???

You MUST! It is required as part of Motorcycle Ownership. "Use it or lose it"

I've committed a bulk of my vacation days this year to travel Europe with my wife for a few weeks.
:beerchug:

For myself, I only have one "big ride" planned, and that's two weeks in May to the Black Sea. I have us rolling through Bavaria, a bit of Austria, southern Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania *dip toes in Sea* and then come back along a southern route, possibly with a bit of Italy thrown in depending on weather and time.

However, Dan has repeatedly insisted that once the weather is better that we spend "every weekend" riding around the regions near us. This means more France and Germany and possibly Belgium, Luxembourg and Lichtenstein. Who knows where we'll end up?   So if anyone has an specific Points of Interest within a day's riding of Basel, let me know

Seems like all my vacation dollars will be spent in WV this year.

Last weekend of April I'm in Mineral Springs for our 'SE Ohio' yearly (Marietta is booked solid with grad that weekend).
3rd weekend of June I'm back in WV dual-sporting out of Pipestem State Park.
Mid Sept back in WV in Lewisburg for the FJR guys Eastern Owners Meet.

At some point this summer, I think  the girl and I are gonna do the Cabot Trail. Or something.

Not on the bike, but taking a month off in June/July to take my boys camping across the US.

Probably the Shenendoah Shindig in May.

That is the thing of life-long memories. Enjoy, Shane. That sounds awesome.

This will be the first time in 10 years I've not planned a long (week or more) summer two-wheeled trip.  I've committed a bulk of my vacation days this year to travel Europe with my wife for a few weeks.  So, I'll be looking at long weekend trips to NC, TN, KY, OH, WV, and VA.
Please keep me updated on those. I'd love to join in when and where I'm able.

I'll take that into consideration.  Is your better half going to join you?    ??? ;)

So far nothing set in stone. Although it looks like we'll tack an extra day or two onto our weekend at WSBK Laguna Seca in July.

Wow, that sounds horrible.  How can you put up with such a trip?

I will be riding the coast of California in May.  The Rock House, Mulholland Drive,   Spend a week or so.

We will fly in to Lax from Detroit.  My son will pick us up and toss me the keys to his C-14.  We will ride his bike while he is at work and then meet for dinners.

He has lived just North of Malibu for approx. two years and said he has our rides planned out.
Wheelies are good for the soul.

Not really Moto but am planning on taking the family on a camping vacation up the coast. Stopping at Whidbey Island to see family.  Then slowly over to GNP then down to Jellystone. Possibly ending up in Colorado. I have four weeks scheduled off on the books at work.  As it is now just general directions.

In the early fall I plan on taking a week or two off and riding several of the passes and then out 50 to Moab for a go around on the White Rim Trail. Then whatever way I feel like heading home.
