Soon to return to work, finally.
« on: August 15, 2014, 06:38:48 PM »
Hi All.

Good news. My doctor released me to return to work. I've been on medcal leave for about 15 months now. While I can't say I haven't enjoyed this time off, the circumstances havent been ideal, what with the blood clots, broken leg, multiple surgeries and the possibility of death and all.

I'm talking with my folks at work to see where I might go. There is a position in Tx and perhaps something overseas, not in the war zone though.

Thanks for the support and good wishes.

Mac

That's great Mac.  I was very concerned when the whole blood clot thing went crazy.

I still have the clots, but I am taking blood thinners, probably for the rest of my life, to control and hopefully reduce them.

The single hardest part now is I get out of breath easily.
