Babysitter Request. (Bike and Trailer)
« on: June 18, 2014, 09:49:35 PM »
My wife, dog and I are going to be in SFO Sept 16-22nd on a half-business/half-pleasure trip.

We will be driving, and I believe we're staying at the Hilton / Union Square.

Keigwin's has a track day at Sonoma on Sept 23rd, and I was thinking about adding the bike/trailer to our caravan.  But  - I don't see how the Hilton would accommodate the additional parking.  Hell, I'm just hoping our Avalanche will fit in their garage.  Parking at hotels on the peninsula is not known to be roomy or plentiful.

If I were to trailer-up Speedy, is there someone here that could offer a spot for me to park the bike/trailer for a few days, until the 23rd, early morning?

Or is there some other idea that I'm missing?

I've got plenty of room but I'm in Illinois.
lAt the risk of encouraging him, I agree with Cookie.   "Bomber"

We have room at Peter's warehouse parking lot but it's in kind of a sketchy neighborhood.  Let me ask him if he thinks it'd be a bad idea.  We'd have room at the house for the bike but probably not a trailer.
Hockey season starts April 18!  Riding season starts whenever I can get a babysitter.  Any offers?

If it would make sense, the Speedy can come off, and the trailer put against a wall as this:

I am over on the coast (20 min south of the city) 5 blocks off HY1, if it doesn't fit in my driveway I bet I can still find a place here.

PM me for details

Plenty of room to spare in Danville off 680 in the East Bay.

30-40 minutes to the Hilton ~ 10 minutes to BART if you want to go no car in the city
You may find yourself living in a shotgun shack  -You may find yourself in another part of the world
You may find yourself behind the wheel of a large automobile- You may find yourself in a beautiful house with a beautiful wife-
You may ask yourself, well, how did I get here?

And his driveway incline works great for loading motorcycles in to the back of a truck.  :D

I'd offer up the space I have, but I'm in Sacramento, and it looks like you have better options closer to you at this point.

If they fall through though....let me know. :)

I can't imagine hauling a trailer up your street

Thanks, all.  This is great!

After Sept., I'm going to be one of the few SoCal folks that's done a track day at Sears Point... er... Infineon.... er.... Sonoma.
