I'm still surprised the Transalp  didn't work out since we keep hearing such great things about that bike.
Whut he said.

I don't remember reading about any dislikes you had about the Honda.

Okay, I will address the 800lb gorilla in the room. The Honda was a soul-less beast, akin to Coors beer, a Walmart blender, or a leaf rake. She wanted something that would cause a reaction-she wanted to feel something*. There I said it.

*This also flies in the face of Chornbe's theory that "problems=soul". If that were true, the Honda would have some.
You never see a motorcycle parked outside a psychiatrists' office.

At the start of you and motorcycles in Europe, I was surprised that you got a Honda. Now I'm just as surprised that the Honda didn't make the grade. :headscratch:
Great choice though. I have had lust for the F800s since they came out.

That's because I didn't say too much about it either way. It did its job, it was comfortable and it ran well enough. But as Max Wedge so eloquently put it, it was a soulless beast. And not just because its a Honda. You guys remember how much I loved my VFR, even storing it in the living for a year because I couldn't bear to sell it...

But damn... Coors beer. I wouldn't say it was that bad. I just didn't love it.

You do realise that it is left hand drive and thus illegal in the UK?
