Craigslist Free - in a box by the curb - they'll disappear.

They'll be "stolen" in a couple hours.  Free things can linger, but if there's perceived value: Gone!

Perhaps I should stick this in the rant thread, but it's not meant to be a rant...

I have difficulty with the "$20 / stolen" mentality. It seems to reinforce the theft / get away with something mentality of people and it's a negative we don't want in society.

Under "C/L Free", in my experience, people crawl out from the woodwork to "get something for free" even if (imo) they have no use for it. I wonder how many C/L Free scavengers are horders (vs. needing the item or at least selling the item).

Heh. Whenever I see that phone# I chuckle. That is our exchange. It can't be issued.
