FS: 2009 Honda Transalp
« on: April 24, 2014, 03:26:34 PM »
I'm just going to toss this out there in case one of you guys is interested   8)

It's been a year since I bought the Transalp and I'm sad to say, but I'm just not feeling the love  :(  The bike is fine and runs great but... it just doesn't sing to me. So I've decided to sell it and buy something else. I'll just keep on riding it until it sells  :D

The facts:
- 2009 Honda Transalp
- ~ 18,000km (18,000km service done less than 500km ago)
- TT crash bars
- TT bash plate
- OEM side cases and top case
- could include Barkbuster handguards (not currently installed)
- located in Switzerland
- still not sure of the price. I'm leaning towards $5,000 but I haven't done much research yet

So here's your chance to do a serious "fly 'n ride"   Maybe contact a group like Globeriders and see if you can stash the bike in one of their containers (I know the owner and one of their lead tour guides), or know someone in the military who can bring it back with them, or buy it and keep it here on the continent for future rides  :naughty:

Maybe if you put some tiki torches on it, it would float your boat? Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

"So I've decided to sell it and buy something else."

What motorcycles are you considering to replace it with, Mrs. DantesDame?  Inquiring minds want to know.
