My Gerbings deal
« on: May 06, 2014, 09:28:14 AM »
I have a Gerbings dual control permanent mount heat controller on the FJR and last year i was having trouble with one side cutting in and out. when i was tracing the wires I found a brake in a connector and at that point the wires touched and i heard a pop. Well it wasn't the fuse i heard pop it was the controller. The fuse never blew. Now only one side works.

I've been looking to replace the control box but it isn't sold alone I have to get the whole setup. I've been looking an the internet and the prices have been in the range of $115.00 to $130.00.

Last night I was looking again and went to Revzilla and they had a dual controller that they had used in one of there demo videos for $89.00. Well it should be on it's way to me today.

Is it still cold up there? It's been in the 90's for the last 3 days here. 98 yesterday.

In 2 1/2 weeks i'm going up to Canadu. If it was anything like last year i'll be needing the heated gear.

34 for me this morning, Canada is to the east.

Pretty much everything is north to me.  ;D

There is still ice on Lake Erie, at the mouth of the Niagara River!
