Meh. The clock does not change the amount of daylight or night.
As an odd aside, I lived in Phoenix working midnights for 3+ years. And my job depended on airline schedules both in and out of the state. 
+1 and yikes, what a logistical nightmare!
DST or Starndard, I don't care. I used to like DST becuase I could ride to later in the evening and that was a big plus when I would get home from work at 6 and wanted to go for a nice ride. The days of going for a ride after work are long gone becuase I have other obligations now.
So today I could care less which time we're in. I ride on weekends now so if it's in DLS time, I get to ride a little longer in the evenings. If we're in standard time, I get to start a little sooner.
Six of one or half dozen of the other. Same thing.
Please, somebody run for office of President with your platform being sticking with one or the other and you'd get my vote! Quit this back and forth crap.
