Thinking about it tomorrow...supposed to be 17 in the AM and 35 in the PM!! :chili: My oldest has chipped a path to dry roads so he may ride, and I am going to look into cutting a path through the woods behind my house to make my own path to dry roads.*

30s all weekend. Forecasted 41 on Monday. High 30s the rest of next week. The roads are clear of snow & ice already. Spring is here! Maybe I'll contribute to this thread soon. Going to the BMW dealer tomorrow to test ride a slightly used K1200S & check out the R-Nine-T & have my fiance try on helmets!

When I left the house this morning it was 24 and it's now 48... so I can't wait for 4:30. I took tomorrow off and I'm heading down river on some trails.

Today I learned the tenere doesn't read ambient temperature until it reaches 15, below that it just says "lo". Phone said it was 10 when I left this morning. I'm hoping the ride home will make it all worth it.

In related news, heated glove liners have been added to my must have list. Feels great to get out the road again. First commute of the year has been a great success to this point!

I finally got to ride today.

29 when I left, other than the bike wanting to rest almost at the end of driveway (its a 1/4 mile long)

it was a pleasant ride up 294 to Chicago. Lots of stares and waves from cagers.

Supposed to be 45 on the way home...on the LONG way home  ;D

A couple shots from today's commute. If anyone is wondering if its worth suffering through the 10 degree ride in just to enjoy the 50 degree ride home... The answer is yes, yes it is...  10/10 Would do again. =p

Any damage? I was worried about the same thing as my driveway is also 6" of solid (now slushy) ice.

Many strange looks from cagers were given to me this morning as well.

44 deg. and sunny. It felt tropical compared to the winter we've been having. Roads were wet in places but not bad. No salt.

It was 65° yesterday and 40° today. Supposed to be 75° on Monday and Tuesday, but a chance for snow Wednesday.

wife made me go out for a ride since I was grumpy the last few days. sooo, I went up Nemo RD, Vanocker and then back home. Here's one of the places I visited..
