Right!  Wooohooo!  I'm back on a BMW!   :bigok: :bigok: :bigok: :bigok: :bigok:

I just got back from the inaugural running of the night.  About 25 miles putting around the neighborhood.

First thought:

Headlight needs work.   :rolf:

Second thought:  SELF-CANCELLING TURN SIGNALS!  OH HOW I'VE MISSED YOU!  And Heavens be loved, it has the RIGHT BMW Switches!  Left for LEFT and Right for RIGHT!  I've so missed that configuration.  It just works for me.

I already have Wolfman Exped saddlebags…and I can still get a set of frames for them.

Yeah, I'm pretty dang pumped!
Lo and behold, we ride!

Congrats! I like the colors-very sharp. But like others have said, WAY too clean. Enjoy your turn signals!

We haven't had any winter here in SoCal for the last couple of years.  It was in the low 80s here over the weekend.

I just noticed the Remus.  I bet that parallel twin has a nice mean raspy sound to it through that can.  Nice.

Actually the Remus is remarkably mellow.  I was quite surprised to say the least.  It's got a really nice tone to it but nowhere near a raspy nasty like the Arrow Ti Race exhaust on the Monster.

So here's the run down:

2010 F800GS 30th Anniversary Special Edition.

Expedition Skid plate
Touratech (BMW?) crash guards
Factory expandable topcase
"beak"
Hand guards with extensions (more coverage)
BMW Factory tank bag
Remus exhaust…
and the usual standard kit of factory heated grips, ABS, onboard computer.

Spare farkles of OEM exhaust and a spare saddle (un-faded, I might add!).  Fully serviced at 6,100 miles…

All with only 6,800 miles on the clock.

And a brand new set of Hedi K60's installed.

I splurged when I got home with it and ordered a set of Wolfman bag mounts (for my wolfman exped saddlebags).  Maybe I'll get lucky and find someone who wants to trade yellow bags for black?  In the end I'll also order some decent lights for it…but that's just not quite on the priority list yet.

Lo and behold, we ride!

Nope not at all... R series bikes and K Series bikes have the tele-lever suspension.  The F- and G- series have traditional forks
