Just out of curiosity, what's the point of a helmet liner in the first place?  I've never found that my head gets cold when my helmet is on.

In the winter I can't zip my outer jacket up all the way now with just a heater liner on under it.  The neck holes just aren't large enough for those of us with gorilla size necks.




I'm sure it's a great product though if it works for you.  There skivies are outstanding.

I guess you're lucky, or have a big windshield :)

On long rides in extended low temps, I find a liner helps me a lot at keeping heat in.

So it's a balaclava, a $37 balaclava.

I wear a balaclava during colder temps. Love them.  I have to say that it is difficult finding a decent one though.  Haven't spent that much on one though

Well what interests me about it is its thin under the helmet but thicker around the neck with the double rear flap. A lot of the ones I have used are either thin and not great in the very cold or thick under the helmet. This may be the best of both worlds I think

I have a balaclava (thin all over) but I rarely wear it - although usually wish I had it halfway into the ride, as my forehead gets cold. Took me a couple of tries to remember to wear it with the seam on the outside  :redface:
