Took both the bikes out for a spin on Xmas. Wake up today to an inch of snow on the ground which is quickly turning to rain. Calling for mid 40's tomorrow. Will probably put in for my custom DMV plate.

Nope. No riding around here today. Julia made her slow crawl up her and dumped almost a foot of rain. Lots of road closures and schools were closed. My wife left early this morning to go pick up the grandkids in here Maxima, but quickly turned around and grabbed the Tundra to get through the flooded streets.

The part the really sucks is it looks like we lost the pool liner to groundwater buildup behind it.

Got out today for maybe 250 - miles not CCs - first time since ESTN. Felt so good; it was like learning to ride all over again. Been so long. Great weather. Only one stinken bug on my visor all day.

Took my Wee because the Connie is still in the shop. Luggage locks are on back order. Went back to the pothole that caused this. No surprise it was twice as far getting there as it was getting home with a bent rim. Almost stopped for lunch, just kept riding. i guess you could say they fixed the potholes on 339. Shitty PennDpT pavbing job. 3 feet wide strips with half inch rise running crossways across the lane and every which way nice geometric patter but at least there are no depp holes. Bourbon whiskey is good

My riding today consisted of my 56 mile ride in to work which I'll reverse on the way home tonight. Not very exciting.

I did manage roughly 500 miles on Saturday though. Great twisty roads in WV and achieved a goal I've been working towards all summer but couldn't manage the free time until the temps were in the 30's. Oh well.

I did not! But only because I needed to take the mini van (which has a trailer hitch) to pick up the trailer from storage so I can grease the bearings (or have Stanimal do it for me) and prepare it for the drive to Barber!!!!!!!

Started a bit drizzly/rainy and 45 ° but eventually cleared out and warmed up the mid-fifties. Got in 280 miles of southern Virginia back roads out to Blackstone VA for the annual New Year's Day ride with some of the local Beemer trash.
