In 1987 I bought my first BMW. A 4 year old R80ST. I lived in Mesa, AZ at the time and the bike was in Austin, TX. So I flew to Austin to pick it up and ride it back. Since I was also a former resident of Austin, I also strapped 3 cases of Shiner Bock on the back and put 2 qts. of Chuy's chili con queso in the tank bag. My wife (at the time) was very happy to see me when I got back to Mesa.  ;D

The only way I'm riding for beer is in the left front seat of a Ford Explorer.

When I lived in Utah, the closest Liquor was 65 miles away, in Corteze, CO. A very pleasant ride too. Now that I live in CO, there are 5 stores within a mile and a half. :beerchug:
The odd thing is, that you can get beer from a supermarket here, but only 3.2.  :headscratch:
