The NWS said it was 28, but the bike showed 26.2 on the way to work this morning.

I don't even turn on my heated jacket at 28°.

Temps aren't the problem. It's the snow and ice cover everywhere. Hmm, now that I think of it, that may be a temp problem as well.

Worst winter for riding I can remember although I can only recall about the last 10 or so.
Havent been on the bike since the middle of December.

Yea, -10* is my record for riding in but the packed ice (this morning the roads were like ice skating rinks) tends to keep me in the truck. Plus they're calling for up to 10" here over the next 24 hours. I can work from home tomorrow with no problem

roads were icy and it was 14* with snow and a high of 19 * forecast. so, not me

I did manage a hundred mile ride yesterday by skipping out of work early. A few icy spots in the hills but temps were 45-53.

I rode today because we are supposed to get 2-4 inches tomorrow and then another storm could bring up to 12 inches next week.

I'm ready for this winter to be done, but the good news is this really cold weather is killing off all of the little bugs we hate.

I drove my F150 today. It's winter. There was about 3-4 inches of fresh snow this morning.

My motorcycles won't see pavement until mid-April at best.

As far as two wheels, go, I have my eyes on those fat wheel mountain bikes, though. Those look fun.

below 50 degrees on the ride in this morning. I nutted up and left the heated gear at home. Mid-70's on the way home.

I took the road to work today. Just like every day.

I didn't ride today though. Gotta keep the cages in the rotation. I rode Monday, and Tuesday. Probably ride again tomorrow too.

Yes I road to work today, just like every other day. Is there a reason I shouldn't? Well Ok it was a bit foggy yesterday with a touch of rain in the afternoon :shrug:Maybe I should have taken the truck I did have to wipe the visor more than once to clean it.

At this point I'm stuck between 24" of snow and no speed/no movement and no snow, pure ice and no traction/laying on it's side.

Now my old retired neighbor has an old (15 years?) Ural sitting in his barn with three flat tires. Nice old guy, but he's gonna die soon. I've had the conversation with him but I might get a little more aggressive this spring. A Ural side hack would be AWESOME.

Our local Ural dealer had their demo bike stuck in a snow drift this week. It was kind if amusing seeing two rooster tails of snow as he dug the hole deeper.

Between a week long bout of bronchitis and an outbreak of tendonitis of my left big toe, I haven't been on the bike in almost 2 weeks.

I'm a wreck...and now the spring rains have finally arrived.

It was 24° when I left the house this morning, but most of the snow and ice is gone. I took tomorrow off and I'm going to head down some roads along the river tomorrow to have lunch with some friends. It supposed to be 63° tomorrow afternoon so it should be a nice ride.

As far as today's ride... it's been 30 minutes and I'm just now getting feeling back into my neck. The grip warmers kept my hands warm, but I need to wear my balaclava to keep my neck warm.
