Does anyone have any experience selling a car to Carvana?  I received a very acceptable offer on my car by simply providing the VIN and answering a few questions.  They then asked for photos of my title and odometer. 

I'm told they will schedule a visit to inspect to see if the car lines up with the description.  If so, they give me a check and put the car on their truck. 

Any pitfalls I should be aware of?

This just became interesting because I have a friend who also wants the car.  If he's able to come through by next Thursday, it's his.  If not, I'll be accepting Carvana and seeing how the rest of their process goes.  From what I'm finding on the internet, as long as the car is described as advertised, it's a fairly straightforward transaction.

I’d like to see what you get as compared to a private sale.  They need to turn a profit.

I’ve never sold them a car, but I’ve bought 2 from them.  Paid a little more but both were in great-excellent condition and came with warranties.  One of them developed a brake problem during the warranty period and it cost me nothing to have it fixed.  I’d use them again.
