My youngest step-son lives in Lake Charles, LA. He packed up the wife and kids and headed up to Missouri to stay with his Dad. At least they're safe.
Now we just to wait to see what there is to go home to.

Seems damage might not have been as bad as predicted.

Imagine that. I will note that NOAA (and it's NWS department) have a much better track record of predictions than the CDC does.
