It's winter for many of us and thought this might be a fun topic for all to post their 'gadgets' that make your journey on two wheels more pleasurable.

Solar phone charge that I place in my tank bag, luggage or backpack. It doubles as a flashlight and usb charger with a compass if you use one.

And a Battery Tender Jr. fits on the under $30 list. That's totally worth it.

I don’t know what they cost as I pilfered mine, but one of those “keys” to turn on the hose spigot at a commercial building comes in handy. Great for wetting down T-shirts in hot weather, etc.

It's more along the lines of gear but this is probably the most important thing I wear as far as warmth aside from a good jacket and gloves.

I made sure to grab mine off the bike to take on an upcoming tour on a rental bike. Can't imagine riding any length of time without one!

Yes, I just bought my sweetie her own Buff (like on Survivor TV show). Right around $30 for the merino wool version. Great for warmth and for keeping scratchy collars from irritating the neck.

I do not see the need, why would one need to have a stud protruding from the clutch or brake?
Maybe I am in the minority, but I can think of a few better ways to or places to leave the helmet

I bought one of these neck shields for about $5. It works surprisingly well. It cuts enough wind to keep you comfortable on winter rides but it is not too hot to wear in the summer on a dusty dual-sport ride. I use it often.

The one I got is the Bimini Bay brand. It was from an Ebay dealer who is no longer registered.
