Good to see you still riding JJ.
That Duc 996? It was a blast but sorta grenaded itself at 25K. It sorta ended my run with Ducatis. None of mine ever went past 35K without major motor issues. Just too fussy for my daily ride.
Hey Mr. Whippy!.. I really don't think that 996 was stock by any stretch of the imagination.. ppl cant see you when your headlight is always up in the air.. I had an ST4 for a while after that one.. just never really hit it off with the Italian girls.. too finicky
JJ
Ooh. I loved those Italians when they were running, but they don't like salt, they don't like water, the valve train likes to wander (in the guides)...
I need a bike that can go 50-75K before it needs an engine tear down. I stupidly believed the blogs where people said they had run their monster 100k etc, I suspect a lot of time in AZ, NM, TX and not much fall/winter riding.
