** sold **

For sale: 1985 Honda Sabre V65, 1100cc, shaft drive, v4. 30k miles. Good condition. Needs a little work, so this has two prices.

$1300 as-is. $1800 after the work is done, and I'm not sure how that's not the most amazing deal ever, really. Some repairs, but largely basic freshening stuff, listed below. Clear PA title, bike is back and forth between Delaware County PA and Wilmington DE, depending on whether I have it in the garage or at the storage unit.

What it needs:
  • Rear caliper rebuild
  • Rear braks
  • Front tire
  • Fork seals
  • Clutch slave cylinder
  • Battery
  • Reflector(s)
  • Rear turn signal stalks are limp


That's about it. A solid day's worth of work. About 2500 miles on a recent clutch replacement. These prices are pretty firm. Prices are cash or venmo, PP ok too if the fees are covered. Will hold bike for a reasonable deposit.

Forgive the limited pictures. These are all on the trailer before I unloaded it in a rush before the rains. The bike is in the corner of the garage until I'm done the current project, then this is next, so you can buy it now and do the work yourself to save a sizable chunk of coin. I'm happy to help get it to you for all the normal and reasonable terms.

Yes, I have this side cover. It's just off to test the battery.

I know this is WAY different than my BIL's V65 Magna, but that thing was scary fast for a druiser.  It wiggled, it wobbled, and it didn't stop for shit- but boy when you twisted the wrist it moved.

I'd love to ride one once, but I'm projected out right now.
