I hate entitled assholes with kids.  They won't shut up about their spawn.  There is a childfree thread on another forum and the assholes with kids keep on posting about their kids in the thread.  Mod won't ban them because he has kids. If I've decided I don't want kids, that means I DO NOT want to read about how your little spawn did something bad again and you wish he wasn't around.  Don't post in the childfree thread until that thing has been adopted and you are childfree.  Childfree people don't want to hear you bitch about your kids. 

But would you post those same things in a thread that was supposed to be for childfree people?

I put a lot of the blame on the media which tells people that there are two valid sides to any story even when -- as a completely hypothetical example -- one side is scientific, peer-reviewed fact and the other side is horseshit nonsense that has been debunked time and time again and shown to be largely the fiction of one man whose falsified "studies" were created to profit himself directly.

You're 100% supporting my point.  Because there are legitimate cases in which individuals cannot receive vaccinations, it's extremely important that those who can, do.  Herd immunity for the people with medical conditions won't work if healthy crackpots refuse to vaccinate because they think it causes autism or is part of a government conspiracy.

As an aside, because I found this interesting....I'm sure every immunocompromised person is different, but my husband's doctor encourages him to get each and every vaccine he can.  She says that the vaccines are far safer for him than to risk getting the sickness.  (He has Crohn's Disease and is on some hardcore immunosuppressant medication)
