Oh I didn't smash it and get a new one. I already had a new one and decided to see how far I could bounce it. Apparently it doesn't like the sudden stop at the end of a fall

Weirdly the new iPhone I have (5 something; not the newest 5c/5s stuff) seems to work a lot better when texting vs the 3gs. Not sure why. But I've had a lot fewer me being pissed at the phone incidents. And it's not me, I have an Android from work and it still pisses me off when I have to reply to an e-mail.
