Is it better to screw it down with the bow up or the ends up? Explain your answer.

I would say ends up.  If the bow is up it could begin a wiggle and a squeak.  IMO, with the ends down, the bow will be pushed further down anchoring it in place.

This is just a guess and my .02.  No experience.

Flooring is always installed crown up.
As it ages ( dries ) the top will shrink straightening the bow.

what he said^ always put the crown up. as stated it will straighten over time. it is also easier to push the bow down in the middle to fasten it aw opposed to the two ends. it also helps keep water from pooling in outdoor applications, you should look at the end grain and put it cup down for the same reason.
