Looking for a net for my top case lid

Hello all

I would like to get a net like this:

visitors can't see pics , please register or login


...but without paying $30 for it.  I'm ok with buying bits and pieces, but I am not sure what to buy nor where to buy it (made harder by being not in the US). Does anyone have any fun ideas for me?  8)

Ooh, synchronicity. I've been thinking about similar stuff.

This is 15" x 10" and I think I could make it work on the tiger. Maybe attach with industrial strength velcro?

Yep, that's pretty much the same one that is in my Amazon basket, along with four adhesive hooks that I can use if the velcro gives way. And if it doesn't work on the top case, I can always use the net in the back of the car  :bigok:

Save the $$$ and make your own, you are smart and it's not beyond your talents.

The big part is holding the net to the box. I might suggest replacing the pop rivets with bolts & nuts with the use of large washers to hold the net.  Maybe a trip to the hardware store to find better suited holders for the net. Look at the pictures of various vendors you'll get the idea how to make a set.
