Looking for any chance to say hi to STOners anywhere near or around Georgetown to downtown.
So far, we hit Dean's One Trick Pony and an impromptu drag show broke out, and then we hit The Garage. That place was, inarguably, the coolest place I've ever actually been, I think, however the drinks were among the most disappointing. Since yesterday was travel day, we were completely bushed, so a couple of burgers from Carl's Jr. and we crashed early.
This morning we're each banging out some work related stuff. Rain is coming down hard, so we're kicking the notion of heading to The Alamo to ask about the basement to maybe Friday, after we hit a morning showing of End Game at the Alamo Draft House.
Today is wide open after working time, so maybe we'll try something downtown again if it doesn't involve much walking (ref: raining its ass off), or maybe just go see a movie or something. We're eating cheap on this trip, so no fancy places or 3-hour meal event places.
